 ...Data entry

Quick, easy, and accurate to use. Data may be entered with various imports and duplication tools or manually. Even when manually entering data, ProMaster Hardware 7 expedites the process with predictive number sequence generation for appropriate fields (e.g. door numbers, stamping and descriptions).

The dropdown list for features not currently enabled within the project are disabled, meaning that “Door type” and “Override rating” are the only dropdown list active in this section. Below this are 3 tabs; “Inventory” (currently active), “Notes” and “Extra info”. The “Inventory” tab displays a list of inventory items showing each item’s “Short code”, quantity, wither it needs dry fitting, installation, or finishing, wither the finishing is completed, “Part code”, “Description” and “Brand”. Above the list are buttons to alter the list of items; “Add”, “Remove”, alter the “Properties” and increase and decrease the quantity, dry fitting, installation and finishing of the listed items, and a dropdown list “Add items from set” select for use with a button “Add set” (both currently disabled due to the absence of any inventory sets in the project). To the right of the list is an image of the item currently selected in the list. In the bottom left corner is a link to “More tasks”, and in the bottom right corner are “Save and add another”, “OK” and “Cancel” buttons.

 ...Quotes/schedules

ProMaster Hardware 7 generates comprehensive and professional quote and schedule reports for your clients. Select from a vast list of reporting options to produce separate PDF files or combine them into a single file.

Below this is a section where users may “Select the report to produce” and the options for some of those reports. The reports available for printing are; “quote / schedule cover page”, “legend”, “product schedule” or “compact product schedule” with options for showing “prices”, pictures” and “totals”, “product summary”, “area / door type price summary” with a dropdown list for selecting “Layout” options, “doors with prices” with options to “Show totals”, “Show only a total price on each door” and “Start each area on a new page”, “Doors with hardware” with options to “Show all doors (do not restrict to quote)”, “Show door notes”, “Show rating”, “Show handing”, “Show door type”, “Start each area on a new page” and “ Use compact layout”, “Doors with hardware and prices” with options to “Show door notes”, “Show individual item prices”, “Show rating”, “Show handing”, “Show door type”, “Start each area on a new page” and “ Use compact layout”, “product by supplier for ordering” with an option to “Start each supplier on a new page”, and “product installation costs for ordering”. Beneath the report selections is a section for “Display options for all reports except legend” which includes options “Use short code for inventory part code”, “Show inventory part code”, “Show inventory brand”, “Show inventory finish” and a link to “More options”. In the bottom left corner is a link to “Printer options”, and in the bottom right corner are “Print”, “Preview”,  “Email” and “Close” buttons.

 ...Finishing

Record products that require finishing that incorporates a special process (e.g., door furniture that requires a power coat in a non-standard colour or kick plates that need to be cut to specific dimensions) and print finishing instruction reports.

 ...Shipments

Records the items you are shipping to the customer, record the packaging, print the paperwork, and produce shipping labels on your label printer.

These sections allow the user to pack the items by; placing a listed item into a single “Box”, “Pack door” into a single box, “Pack ‘ship separate’ items” into boxes, and “Pack item” to “Put selected item in this box” or “Put all unboxed of selected item in this box”.  In the bottom left corner is a link to “More tasks”, and in the bottom right corner are “OK” and “Cancel” buttons.

 ...Installations

Make a selection of doors (for example on an area-by-area basis) that have items requiring installation, and print a combined set of instructions for the installer to work from.

 ...Claims

ProMaster Hardware looks at the product shipped, and the parts of any installation requests that have been completed and at finishing that is complete, then assembles information for billing. Export this information to CSV files for use with your invoicing software.

Record changes to a project after it is first accepted and track those changes to separate requests and authorisations. Release quotes and accept them for those changes separately.

Record requests for information and their reply about a project and reference various activity in the project.


 ...Communications

In addition to recording your communications, you can link the communication to other data within your project. For example, if you have a discussion involving a particular door, you can link the communication to that door for easy reference later.


 ...Documents

Any amount of documentation may be stored within a project. Documentation may be notes only, or images, or any number of supported document types (e.g., zip, rar, pdf, xps, msg, rtf, txt, doc, docm, docx, xls, xlsm, xlsx, ppt, pptm, pps, ppsm, pptx, ppsx).
