Meeting Hardware Requirements
Before you install ProMaster Key Manager 5, make sure your computers meet the following minimum hardware requirements.
All Computers
300 MHz Pentium II or higher microprocessor (or equivalent)
Must be running Windows XP, Windows 2000 (Professional or Server), Windows 2003. Your Windows installation must be running the latest service pack available from Microsoft.
800 x 600 or higher display resolution, running small fonts.
Keyboard, mouse or other pointing device, CD-Rom or DVD drive.
Stand Alone Installation and Embedded: Windows 2000, XP or 2003
128 megabytes (MB) of RAM recommended minimum
40 MB of free disk space
Network Installation – Server:
128 megabytes (MB) of RAM recommended minimum
40 MB of free disk space
Network Installation - Workstations: Windows 2000, XP or 2003
64 megabytes (MB) of RAM recommended minimum
20 MB of free disk space
Networking Requirements
ProMaster Key Manager requires that the TCP/IP networking protocol be installed and functioning correctly. Normally this is done as part of installing Windows.
