ProMaster Master Keying - Tutorial
Take a Peek at ProMaster
This overview will show you the basic features of ProMaster 5 along with a few added extras.

ProMaster 5 - this is the opening screen when logged in as a user.

When opening an existing system - you can view the keys within the system along with their designation and key above

You can view doors along with the keying (if required). You can see the history against each door.

The Keying Matrix show the relationship between keys and doors, and you can change them one at a time or a whole line.

You can code systems in either the coding tree (for standard hierarchical systems) which provides automatic coding or in the coding matrix (for large and complicated selective systems). This picture is created in the Coding Tree.

When releasing a job to manufacturer there are a variety of reports and options you can select. You can print pinning charts, door hardware labels, order confirmations for your clients, key cutting charts, key labels and a list of the parts required. You can also download the keys to be cut directly to your electronic key cutting machine and stamp your keys on automatic key markers.

The pinning chart shows the door number, description, area, type of lock required, the profile and the pinning required for each chamber.

A handy feature in ProMaster 5 for the institutional locksmith running mobile workshops is the ability to email key codes and pinning information to the locksmith on the road so it can be read on a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant or Pocket PC), or even some of the flash new phones with email capbilities.

ProMaster 5 can create a system from information that your customer has entered into an Excel spreadsheet. An empty spreadsheet template is provided with ProMaster 5. This is easily imported, thereby creating the system for you - all you need to do is the coding.

Alternatively, you can create a system with the hierarchy wizard which steps you through entering client and system details, then you specify the hierarchy of your system, how you want keys numbered, how you want doors numbered, how many of each you want to create and how many of each you want to order. When youre done, you click Finish and the system is created.
