New Look!
To keep InstaCode as the world's premier locksmith software, the team at WH Software has been working hard to rebuild InstaCode from the ground up for the July 2010 release.
Fresh and modern, the new look enables compatibility with new operating systems such as Windows 7 and the smaller Netbook PCs that have become so popular with mobile locksmiths over the last few years.
Simpler keyboard
The primary shortcut keys have been simplified. No more searching around the keyboard looking for that one letter, we have made use of the function keys on your keyboard - easy to press and easy to remember.
To help you learn these new shortcut keys we have designed and made keyboard stickers to place on your keyboard. Available upon request.
Multi-user
Network support has been added allowing you to keep your client and custom data on a central PC and access it from others within your network.
Multi-lingual
Big and on-going push toward a multi-lingual version, supporting all international characters. There is still much to be translated, but for the massive effort so far we say a big "thank you"
to all translators and helpers.
Languages available include: English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Dutch, and Turkish coming soon.
Find vehicle
To make finding specific vehicle information easier, InstaCode now has a model number search and the ability to search for a specific year rather than just a year range. Handy when different model numbers have been produced and sold in the same year. A new "Find Model" feature helps you identify a vehicle from any information you have.
Find card
Now InstaCode can search for a rare, never seen before card with just a few measurements from a sample lock or key.
Rekey locks
A calculation tool has been added to allow you to rekey a lock or vehicle to a new valid code without requiring any new wafers or pins. Try it - it's a massive time saver!
Enhanced machine support
Along with new machines supported and enhancements for existing machines, the setup of machines has undergone a revamp resulting in easier machine setup.
New Information
As you might expect, there are new cards, new series and new vehicle data.
