Cards & Keys is a great tool for key blank cross referencing, finding a particular key, identifying a key and creating your own code cards for use with your Ilco Universal II, HPC 1200CM/Blitz/Formula X or HPC Punch machines.

The first section of the program features a highly comprehensive database of key-blank reference numbers from 34 different manufacturers, all cross indexed.
This section of the program allows you to enter a key-blank reference number from a particular manufacturer and have this instantly converted to be the reference number of the brand of key-blank you use.
This is a very useful feature for cross referencing obscure key-blanks from unusual manufacturers, and is designed to save much valuable workshop time.
It also takes much of the ‘chance’ out of key-blank selection for those who are unfamiliar with a wide range of keys, and minimises the chance of mistakes made by using the incorrect key-blank.
Thousands of pictures of key blanks and key profiles help you to identify your key with certainty.
The second section of this program allows you to print out code cards for use with HPC Blitz/1200CM code machines and also HPC 1200 Punch machines.
The quality of the printed cards is extremely high, and the cards include all the relevant information you will need in order to cut a key.
This information includes:
- Card Number
- Space and Depth measurements in Metric or Imperial
- Code series information (where applicable)
- Cutter number
- Key-blank number
- Graphical representation of the key position in the jaw (allows easy positioning, and prevents mistakes)
- Space & depth reference marks for needles
The program comes pre-loaded with well over 700 cards, and also includes the ability to make your own cards should you require.
If you choose to enter your own cards, simply enter the relevant space & depth information including the positioning of the first cut, every subsequent cut and the depths, and let the program do the rest! Why waste time with pencils and paper, trying to calculate angles, when this program does it for you in a matter of seconds.
You can even select the key-blank alignment positioning graphic from a drop-down box, and this also gets printed on the code card.
